Last season the Clarksville (Ohio) Clinton-Massie Falcons entered the playoffs undefeated, looking to make a long run in the playoffs. However, after three playoff wins, the Wyoming (Ohio) Cowboys ended their season short of their goal.
A lot can change from season to season, and Friday night, the Falcons looked for payback against the Cowboys in the third round of the OHSAA football playoffs. However, as the clock ticked off the final seconds in the game, the Falcons had knocked off Ohio’s No.1 ranked team in Division IV in impressive fashion 42-14.
One reason for the big win was the play of senior quarterback Kody Zantene who manages the Falcons wishbone offensive attack and put personal numbers behind those of the team as a whole.
We spoke with the senior signal-caller following his team’s big victory in this exclusive One-on-One video interview presented by First Star Logistics.
