Football In Ohio was in attendance to watch Greater Miami Valley Conference rivals Lakota West take on Lakota East with the West Firebirds looking to win their second consecutive GMC title.
Senior running back Cameron Goode has enjoyed a solid final season rushing for 682 yards on 117 carries with 10 touchdowns on the season. However, he saved his longest touchdown run of the season to put the final exclamation point on the Firebirds 34-7 win when he ran 67-yards to give the Firebirds their final score on the night and a 34-7 victory over their crosstown rival.
Football In Ohio spoke with Goode about the win, conference championship, and his long touchdown run following the game.
