Javon Hammonds is a defensive lineman with tremendous upside. Plays with a high motor and has excellent physical size with room to add more bulk to his frame. Does a great job of coming off the edge without overplaying a play. Will stay home to be in a position to keep a play in front of him. As a sophomore, Hammonds posted 75 total tackles with 4.5 sacks. After three games in 2022, Hammonds has posted 24 total stops with a sack and three tackles for loss.
