Quinn Staten is a linebacker prospect who is also the son of a longtime college coach, Mark Staten, who enjoyed coaching stops at Ohio State, Cincinnati, Michigan State, and now Toledo.
Staten is a hard-nosed player not afraid of contact and does a great job of reading the play and making stops. Has played outside and in the middle but projects at the college level as a middle backer.
Held several Division Two offers but will take his talents to the Cincinnati Bearcats as a preferred walk-on.
