Timothy Carpenter

Young quarterback prospect with good size and ability to beat you with his arm and legs. Has already picked up early recruiting interest with offers from the likes of Akron, Central Michigan, Miami, and more. He is not afraid to stand in the pocket but does a great job keeping his eyes up when moving around it. Shows a strong arm; while most snaps come from the shotgun, he also can get under center for a snap. A big junior year could see more recruiting interest as he’s got a solid skill set. At this time more of an athlete than a quarterback; however, after watching live game action, we feel he’s a major player to watch as he’s young for his class and is still learning the quarterback position. We still see a player who will gain a lot of interest and be given a chance to be a quarterback at the college level.
