Thursday night, Riverside (Ohio) Stebbins head coach Greg Bonifay saw his team continue their dominating ways early in the 2021 high school football season with a 41-8 win over rival West Carrollton.
With an offense that posted 418 yards of total offense behind senior running back Omar Holloway, who rushed 21 times for 147-yards and three touchdowns and a defense that held the Pirates to 81-yards rushing, Stebbins moves to 3-0 on the season.
Last season Bonifay led the program to a Miami Valley League, Valley Division title, and berth in the OHSAA playoffs while looking to continue building a program that had struggled in recent years.
After the game, Football In Ohio spoke with Bonifay about his team’s win, the growth of the program, and more in this exclusive one-on-one interview presented by First Star Logistics.
