The Ohio High School football regular season is almost completed as teams finish up Week 8 play this weekend. One of the top teams in Southwest Ohio is the Madeira Mustangs, led by head coach Chris Stewart.
Coach Stewart has his squad playing solid defense as the Mustangs have given up 54 points in eight games, led by senior linebacker Aidan Megois with 46 tackles, a sack, and two interceptions.
The offense scored 276 points as junior quarterback Peter Breidenbach is connecting on 64 percent of his throws, going 73-of-114 for 1,061 yards and ten touchdowns.
Senior Nick Heisser is the leading rusher with 879 yards on 155 carries and 13 touchdowns, and Max Autry (WR) is a dual threat having 29 receptions for 505 yards and seven touchdowns to go with 60 carries for 571 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Akron pledge Conner Cravaack plays both ways and has 15 receptions for 239 yards and a touchdown from the tight end position. Cravaack has ideal size at 6-foot-5, 225-pounds, and is a prospect going under the radar despite his early pledge to the Zips.
