Javien Brownlee is a skilled wide receiver prospect out of Clayton (Ohio) Northmont High School who has been a key contributor at the varsity level since his sophomore season. Brownlee earned several scholarship offers before giving Kent State his verbal pledge in May of 2022. He posted 25 receptions for 246 yards and three touchdowns as a sophomore. His junior season saw 36 receptions for 363 yards and three scores while also returning eight kickoffs for 311 yards and two touchdowns. After three games in his senior season, Brownlee has eight receptions for 185 yards and a touchdown while rushing for a score.
